About Me
I am a doctoral candidate in health and public policy at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
My research focuses on policy and services for people with mental illness, substance use disorder, and disability. I use both qualitative and quantitative methods and have experience with a variety of data sources including interviews, surveys, and administrative insurance claims datasets.
Prior to graduate school, I worked as a music therapist in school, hospice, and inpatient psychiatric settings. I hold a bachelor's degree in music therapy from the University of Evansville (Evansville, IN) and a master's of science in public health with a concentration in health policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Baltimore, MD).
